Leader: Lyubov Putilova, accomplished director, a member of the Russian Federation's Union of Theater Workers, an associate professor at the Yekaterinburg State Theater University, head of a creative laboratory of innovative teaching techniques at the Foreign Languages Department, author and presenter of a training session called "Psychology and Culture of Movement". Moreover, Lyubov Putilova has been the head of the linguistic theater "Lingua-T" for more than 15 years. The Lingua-T Theater is a repeat winner of international and Russian festivals of youth theaters. It is the only theater in Russia that performs in six different languages - English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese.
History: In November 2017, the Association invited Lyubov Putilova in order to hold classes and workshops for directors of Russian language theaters of America in Washington, Chicago, and Houston. Since Lyubov Putilova worked for several years as a member of the jury of the International Festival of Russian-speaking Childrens' and Youth Theaters she has a good appreciation of the unique challenges that directors of Russian-language theaters outside Russia face. Many participants of the workshops expressed a desire to participate in the activities of the association in the future.
