SVETLANA ELYAKINA – Director and Creator of Theater Projects in St. Petersburg

Graduated from a music school in St. Petersburg with a specialization in "Musical Theater." In 2000, she founded her first theater group.

Founder, director, and artistic director of theater projects:

  • Children's Musical Theater "Silver Key," St. Petersburg;
  • ANO "Bolshoi Semeyny Theater";
  • Family Theater Festival "My Petersburg – My Theater Family";
  • Theater Studio "Tender Theater," Lahti, Finland.

Creator of more than 30 original performances. Author of a methodology for creating dramatic performances by amateur family theater groups.

Winner of the Grand Prix and top awards at prestigious theater competitions:

  • "Bryansk International Festival," St. Petersburg;
  • All-Russian Theater Festival "White Crow," Moscow;
  • International Children's Theater Festival "Taburetka," St. Petersburg;
  • International Theater Competition "Golden Key," Berlin;
  • Theater Competition "Theater for All," St. Petersburg;
  • and many others.

Currently, Svetlana Elyakina lives in Finland, where she serves as the director and artistic director of "Tender Theater," which includes 40 artists of different ages and professions.

In these challenging times, people need to feel part of something greater than themselves. In a short period, Tender Theater has already created five dramatic performances and hosted two poetry festivals.

The theater's performances—"The Legend of the Leopard," based on the story by Alka Zeya, and "The Tale of the Rain," based on Bella Akhmadulina's poetic tale—became participants in the prestigious "SampoFestFinland" theater festival in Finland.
